个人陈述范例＿英文（二）

What excited and impressed me most were days in Germany. From August 30 to September 18 of 2005, invited by government of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, together with other 11 students, as a representative of Chinese students abroad, I partook in Science Academy along with the most excellent 60 students of local place. I was on the Pharmacy Team. Apart from Chinese students, there were ten German students as well like Trixi and Filix on our team. In the beginning, I was at a loss. Because there was no science of pharmacy in China, and compared with other students partaking in Science Academy concerning physics, chemistry and computer, I was blank about what I would do in the after half a month. In the first class, teachers and students made introductions of themselves. Then, saying nothing, the teacher led us out with clippers used for clipping branches. Being puzzled, we looked at each other with great wonder—making myself feel getting together with my classmates at home, then I went forward to ask a question—“Dear teacher, shall we go to the garden to clip plant medicine?” looking at me with a smile, the teacher said, “very good, I will tell you what we will do.” At last, we made suppository and capsule of aspirin from cortices. Teacher gave us classes in English and the class atmosphere was active. After class, we played badminton, went swimming and lied on the lawn having sunbathe and telling interesting things of our own countries. When the parting day came, we hugged tightly together and really did not want to see the departure.

I was fond of and good at Biology, not a little reluctant. I preferred to have Biology class and read books in this field because I would remember knowledge related to biology only after reading them one time—sometimes even without consciousness. No matter how trivial the knowledge teacher imparted was in biology class, I would be addicted just like being inhaleded by collapsar. Maybe because I had the same sense at each time and many of them made an image in my mind at once. Looking at the teacher explaining with gestures, structure of protein would appear in my mind…As a result, though I did not specially review what I had studied for the exam, I made a good record nearly every time ranking the First Place in the class. Nevertheless, results of exams proved nothing. I love biology because I enjoy the moment when I am studying it. When having elective biology class after class, I would came early and leave last. I just felt that if I spent my life in this way, I would have no pities. Just two and half an hours passed in a while, as if shorter than half an hour ‘s break between big classes. Sometimes, the sun had gone behind the hill when I finished my reading of biology. I was full of sense of satisfaction and achievements at the very moment.

My wisdom may sparkle sometimes. Once, one of my good friends did not come because of illness and I went to see her. She told me about the naupathia and suffering of gastroscopy. So long a tube was inserted in it. My hair stood on end when I heard of that. Then, I said it would be perfect if we could swallow a vidicon with eyelet just like gulping the tablet. But we just did not know how to solve the problem that where the head of vidicon should point. After a few days, when I read Discovery, I found that a hospital in Israel had invented capsule with vidicon to be used for intestines examination—different from my approach but equally satisfactory in result.

I like everglade and expect that people can inhabit on the earth full of poetry. So I hope to further acquire knowledge and make the nature recover the look before the industry era and sustain well or go to explore and better understand ourselves, at least healthier in the aspect of physics and material. I long for a platform for me to absorb knowledge and gain an opportunity to bring useful changes to the world with my acquisition.
